Blomdahl Earrings

1. Never touch ears with unclean hands
2. Wash newly pierced ears (both sides) thoroughly, without removing the earring.
3. When washing/showering your hair; rinse thoroughly with clean running water.
4. Supplementary cleaning with Blomdahl piercing aftercare swabs. Which is gentle on the skin. Clean between your ears and the earring/back of the earring. Allow to air dry. One swab her ear. Note: Do Not clean with Alcohol.
5. Ensure the area around the hole is kept clean, dry and airy at all times
6. Take care in putting on/ removing clothes over your head, so earring doesn’t get caught.
7. Swimming in a pool, lake or sea, wait for as long as possible after piercing and avoid having your head under water. Once out of the water unsure to cleanse the ear/earring with after care swab.
8. After approx. 6 weeks (cartilage approx. 12 weeks) you can change your earrings. To remove, ensure to wash your hands thoroughly. Take a hold of the jewellery Part (front); with the other hand, start to wiggle the earring back and forth until it loosens. Then place new earrings.
9. Redness/swelling/pain/rash are indications of possible infection. Remove the earring from the ear lobe (soft part) and cleanse. If there is no improvement by the following day, contact your doctor. If the earring is located in the cartilage, remove the earring, cleanse and seek medical attention.
